I am Er Satya Narayan Sahu, a damn addicted person for the Engines, I love Engines, I love Technology and fortunately I love writting.:) This Site is totally dedicated to my love towards Machines. Lets share an interesting fact about myself, I am a mad person who can tell the name, model and Specification of any indian Bikes that runs on indian path holes with just one site of the bike. My friends used to discuss about me as satya can know any bike's name, model from the back side of the bike... Even just seeing the tail lamp of a bike which runs @ 60kmph speed in dark night, I can know which model/company bike that is.. :) I know many of You have this ability too,, :) If not you can develop it easily if you want to.. :)

ReplyDeleteI am from kerala. I want to know more about the New Mahindra Centuro 110 CC Bike. Could you write a review on it. Am planning to buy a bike. I have selected 3 bikes.
1.Mahindra Centuro
2.Tvs Sport ES
3.Honda Dream Neo. (Poor service centres)
I had test drived the first two vehicles and i liked centuro,the 3rd one am confused of poor service centres. I hope u will spare a little time for people like me to know about these 3 bikes.

1st of all, about Mahindra Centuro : I am going to write a Review on the Same next week after taking a Testdrive on Sunday because I don't write any review just reading the Tech-Specs...
From the 3 bikes, Honda Dream Neo Review is already in my site which is same as Dream Yuga in 95%.So, You can refer it..
But from the list You mentioned I will suggest You to go for "Honda Dream Neo"... You are confused about the Servicing, Do not worry because this is an Old Perception that Honda had bad Service.. Now, they are working hard for their position in market.. So You should not be confused for the same, moreover if at any point You find their irresponsibility You can write mail Directly to Honda India in their website. And I am sure You will not be dissapointed for the same again.
Why Not TVS Sports ES:
Well, this bike was the most Value for money before 4 years but now its Price is almost same to Honda Dream Neo or any other manufacturer's Entry level Bikes... TVS has one bike which is Best in most of the departments and that is TVS Apache 160, otherwise No bikes of TVS is in NO.1 position in its segment. These bikes have lots of Problem like Engine Noise, Body Vibration and Noise, Relatively High Maintenance and to add this NOT best in class Mileage. In simple word, this Bike is Best in Nothing.. TVS needs More Experience in terms of Engine Refinement than Cosmetic Changes... Lets Hope this Indian giant will Produce World Class bikes in near future...
Why Not Mahindra Centuro:
See, though I have not Driven the Bike Yet,,, But What I feel about the bike is that "Except Low Price tag, it has PROBABLY Nothing extra than any other bike in the same segment".. Again I would suggest You to avoid this bike because: 1) The Engine is NOT yet Proved. 2) Centuro may turn into stallio (of 2010-11). 3) No Resell Value. 4) Uncertain Future (its future may be like LML-Freedom or Kinetic). 5)The Bike may have some serious issue as its debut one..
What You get from Honda Dream Neo :
+ A guaranteed 70+ kmpl mileage on Highway and 60+ inside city.
+ A rough and tough Engine.
+ No Vibration of Engine until 60kmph.
+ Much Better Resell Value.
+ A world Class Brand Name of Honda.

ReplyDeleteits getting very confusing for me to finalise the bike...my requirement is milege with some spory look , low maintenance and good engine ...i was looking for cb twister but showroom man said there is less demand for bike and warned me to think twice before to invest in this bike.Then asked he gave option of dream yuga and neo i took a test ride of both of them but i felt neo has firing that is nt pleasant also pick is nt gd . About yuga it is ok but it does nt have that modern look...so i am very much confused and friends are saying go for shine, please please help me
And bike you have in pic is it cb twister..?

Can you plz suggest which will be better for me. Current i am owing honda dream Yuga and it's sound is pathetic. It's irritate me while driving sound like i am driving some machine. Plz help me out i ll very thankful to you.
